Mold Inspection
Mold is a microscopic living organism that eats and breaks down organic matter. Some types of mold can cause illness in humans and animals.
Mold needs three things to grow.
- Water Source: Plumbing leaks, roof leaks.
- Food Source: Paper, wood, food scraps, pet hair, grease particals and dust.
- Dark Environment: Behind walls, appliances, fixtures and A/C system.
Finding Mold
An objective visual mold inspection by a certified mold inspector will determine if there is the likelihood of mold growth in the living area.
Air samples will inform the inspector and home owner of the type of mold, how high the concentration and whether or not it posses a concern the home buyer.
